Teacher's Corner

The Elm Fork Natural Heritage Museum is actively working with local educators to develop lesson plans that complement the expertise and resources associated with the museum. Lesson plans presented here will be tied to National Science Content Standards and TEKS Concepts.

Local educators are invited to stop by the museum and talk to museum staff about resources available. We are always looking for partners to help develop fun and interactive science lessons plans.

Check back often, new lesson plans will be posted as they are completed.

Lessons are available for download as pdf docutments. You may download a free viewer from the Adobe website.
